CPU C6 Report (Available when Power Technology is set to Custom)
Select Enabled to allow the BIOS to report the CPU C6 State (ACPI C3) to
the operating system. During the CPU C6 State, the power to all cache is
turned off. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
CPU C7 Report (Available when Power Technology is set to Custom)
Select Enabled to allow the BIOS to report the CPU C7 State (ACPI C3) to
the operating system. CPU C7 State is a processor-specic low C-State.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Package C-State limit (Available when Power Technology is set to
Custom)
This feature allows the user to set the limit on the C-State package register.
The options are C0, C2, C6, and No Limit.
Energy/Performance Bias
Use this feature to select an appropriate fan setting either to maximize system
performance (with maximum cooling/minimum power efciency) or to maximize
energy efciency (with maximum power saving/ minimum cooling). The fan
speeds are controlled by the rmware management via IPMI 2.0. The options are
Performance, Balanced Performance, Balanced Energy, and Energy Efcient.
Factory Long Duration Power Limit
This item displays the power limit (in watts) set by the manufacturer during which
long duration power is maintained.
Long Duration Power Limit
This feature is used to set the power limit (in watts) during which long duration
power is maintained. The default setting is 0.
Factory Long Duration Maintained
This item displays the period of time (in seconds) set by the manufacturer during
which long duration power is maintained.
Long Duration Maintained
This item is used to set the period of time (in seconds) during which long dura-
tion power is maintained. The default setting is 0.
Recommended Short Duration Power Limit
This item displays the short duration power settings (in watts) recommended by
the manufacturer.
