1-2 Chipset Overview

The X10SLX-F supports a single Intel® Xeon E3-1200 v3, 4th Generation Core i3,

Pentium, or Celeron processor in an LGA1150 socket. Built upon the functionality

and the capability of the C222 Express chipset, the motherboard provides substan-

tial enhancement to cost-effective, cloud-computing platforms in a sleek package.

The high-speed Direct Media Interface (DMI), featured in the Intel C222 Express

chipset, supports chip-to-chip true isochronous communication, providing up to

6.4 Gb/s of software-transparent data transfer rate on each read/write direction.

In addition, the X10SLX-F also features a TCO timer which allows the system

to recover from a software/hardware lock and perform tasks, including Function

Disable and Intruder Detect.
